2012 Perspectives

I want this page ot be devoted to different ideas about what could happen in 2012.  The Mayan calendar ends this year on December 21st and I am sure ther ewill be fear in the air for some who are anticipating an apocalyptic event, as well as media to feed the fear.

I sincerely believe this world will go on, although there are certainly vibrational shifts in the world. We feel it already over the past decade as a sense of things speeding up more and more.  Just like anything that speeds up, we anticipate a stopping or tipping point, but this can play out in so many ways that it is impossible to predict.

My stance  -  it is the end of a calendar cycle.  It may mark some important events or shifts in awareness but not solely in the year 2012...its a process. There are many other systems and calendars that say the world continues for thousands of years more. It is all a question of cultural and religious perspective.

THis link is very insteresting to consider because it points to debate that the Mayan calendar and the Hindu Kaliyugan age may correlate. The article is quite academic, but read it anyway just to get a sense of another point of view.

There is reason to be optimistic about this year as well. People are feeling pushed to heal long standing wounds, and reach their fullest potential. If you are ready for this and can adapt, you can have an amazing year :)
