Chiron Direct in Pisces - December 1st - This wounded healer moves from the unconscious to the conscious side of us, asking the healing we need to do more prominent but also more accessible - so this is a good sign. It will encourage much more compassion.
Mercury into Capricorn December 2nd - This Mercury is a serious thinking, long term calculating, practical old soul. It will get our minds on the bigger picture for ourselves just in time for the new year.
Venus in Aquarius December 7th - This placement is for those who like the unconventional, the quirky, the rebellious and avant garde. We may see some innovative or very weird Christmas gifts from this influence.
Mars in Pisces December 19th - Now we will have three heavenly bodies in Pisces for the Holidays - very interesting since the Star of Bethlehem was a configuration of planets clustered in Pisces. This means a heightened spiritual aspect of love, oneness and compassion this season. It could also bring out the martyr in some folks, and there can also be a lot of drinking and partying
Mercury RetrogradeDecember 19th to January 8th- Now we get a whammy ! That serious thinking Capricorn Mercury goes internal and the Piscean energy may win out for this period. This means a few things could happen - you follow your gut and intuition much more, you feel more spaced out than usual, you have visions and dreams more often, or you could feel depressed.
Uranus Direct in Aries - December 29th - This falls on top of the New Moon in Capricorn so it feels like this day will be a kick off energy to the New year. A fiery force to be reckoned with, ultra independent and ready to rise up and boldly go forward emerges out of retrograde - or awakens ! This could give us some excitement or some drama for the New Year festivities - otherwise setting any goals and revving yourself up to meet them is a good thing now.

Major Aspects of this Full Moon
The Sun and Moon are always in opposition on a full moon so that's a given we feel the pull of these two light bodies and the inner and outer sides of ourselves. That's why we look to the other aspects it makes to see what quality it gives this time. The Sun is conjunct Saturn this full moon and that is a great restricter of emotion. It means that no matter how much the intense moods hit us there is a restraint, a weight, an obligation to consider before just bursting out with it. Otherwise there are two great aspects to this Gemini Moon - a Grand trine with Mars and Jupiter will give us support for all those ideas that are now floating around high speed. It's a beautiful time for visioning and writing, brainstorming and any mental activity you can muster. This Moon will also Square Chiron though, so you may encounter an old wound pertaining to your thought process, creative process, or expressing your ideas freely. It's all good if you prepare your mind to accept and have compassion for whatever comes up this month. There could be many wonderful conversations, great music or books you discover, plays to write, songs to sing, people to visit with.
On the exterior level the outer planets are up to their usual tough aspects of Pluto and Mercury Square Uranus and Jupiter. We all know our world is being reconfigured lately, and a lot of nastiness has surfaced post Trump election. Just stay detached as much as you can and be a loving and understanding voice and source for others who are hurting because of it. The shadow is revealing itself more than usual and we have to stay strong. If you focus on the inner planets and use this Grand Trine energy well you can have a good month.

New moons are always the time to plant a wish or idea or intention that can manifest by the full moon. It's a dark moon, or black moon and sits in the same sign as the sun. A new moon in Libra can herald relationship issues, legal issues, diplomacy and communication issues. It can also be a time of artistic and academic pursuits. Networking is great under this influence as well since Libra knows how to charm almost anyone. You may feel inspired to get out the door to movies, art performances, lectures, BNI meetings, or simply want to beautify your life in some way - your physical body or your environment.
Major Aspects to this New Moon
The Sun, Moon and Mercury are all conjunct in Capricorn ( with Mercury still retrograde) This will likely feel more like the new year has begun than on New Year's day - because we feel the alignment of this strong, practical, far thinking Earth energy. Pluto is sitting nearby as well - so it adds even more power to the mix. The goals you set into motion now for this Number 1 Year will be very potent. This combo is also trine the North node, or karmic direction. Opposite that is the South node, or where we need to move away from to grow - and that it clustered in with Neptune and Mars in Pisces. Everything in you may want to escape and avoid reality but with this powerful Capricorn energy and the North node in Virgo trining it - we MUST face it and start making accurate plans to get our future ducks lined up in a row. Avoidance will be the pull though and it could be a lot of fun, but you will miss out on the manifesting potential of this New Moon.
