This Month's Stars...
This month we see the re -entry to Neptune into it's home sign of Pisces. This marks a generational
shift lasting until 2025. Along side this we have Venus in Pisces beside Uranus - opposing mars in Virgo which is retrograde( appearing to go backwards) To top it off we have Chiron ( the soul healer) in Pisces as well for the next two months intensely. What this means is a time of great healing. However, healing means coming out of the numbness, distraction and fog to see higher truths - this can be very painful
at first, just like going cold turkey quitting smoking or coffee or sugar ( which are apt to mention since they are addictive. We are going to see a time of heightened emotional numbing, OR greater longing
for peace and one-ness. Idealism will run strong and revolution is desirable. We have already begun to
see this as of last year. But for now, February 2012 is a taste of the work you still need to do on your way to becoming a thriving person again. Can you stay real? Are you willing to meditate or be in

This Month's Stars...
We are entering the Year of the Water Dragon on the 23rd of January, and there are some interesting aspects in the chart of this Chinese year that also call to water planet energies. We have a very harmonious aspect between Neptune, Venus and Saturn this month that calls us toward our ideals and idealisms. It is a time of separating the real from the illusory, but also building and projecting a vision of the future. We still have Pluto bashing Uranus, and we are all feeling the tension and dynamism of this upheaval influence. The trick will be to use it for pursuits that inspire you that are grounded in what you can actually achieve. Saturn will end it's long trip through Libra this October, then a period of deepening and even greater transformation will come to be. In the meantime , use this energy to really clean house in your life - getting ever closer to what is true will help to be st rategic and adaptable.

This Month's Stars...
We have mars sitting in Virgo in the 12th house all month (casting the horoscope at midnight GMT) All month there are many varied aspects to this, so let's delve into what this means because it is significant. Mars in the 12th house already shows a person who has trouble manifesting their will, represses their passions including anger, and may have trouble being direct with anyone about their motivations. Mars in Virgo is a perfectionist, critic, methodical analyst, able to fine tune, create efficiency and serve a higher purpose. Now, this energy is now hidden from view and pushed inward in the chart this month. The 12th house is ruled by Pisces, its' opposite sign, and by Neptune...the dissolver. Mars wants to act and make happen. So for all of us this month it's important not to let things build up inside, not to be too critical of others and ourselves. Each month I use my knowledge of Astrology to channel messages for each sign, so the influences described are coming from focusing on the energy surrounding each sign verses pure astrological calculation. It's a different approach...
This Month's Stars...
We start the month with very dense energies. Mars opposing Neptune is a tough thing to move through because it can affect our ability to act and react. It can cloud issues, and subdue the will. At best for those who can tune in to it, we may find ourselves more sensitive and creative during this transit. At it's worst it can bring deception and escapism - or airing dirty laundry. This influence is with us until the 29th so prepare your mind. We do have some nice aspects too and at month's end the mood lightens up considerably. Mars, Jupiter, Venus/Pluto are flowing very well together all month, but will be felt more openly by the 29th. This energy is very industrious and grounded ( how ironic it underpins the previous planets' influence) Do your best to stay grounded this month and not be carried away by distractions - unless it expresses something creative inside :)

These amazing fish are attracted to light int he darkness...so much so that they find the strength and speed to break through the water and actually fly beside the boats as high as the deck! This shows determination and courage. It means you are of two worlds - water ( emotions) and air ( intellect). They risk everything to find a spot that floats upon which to lay their eggs, suggesting that you also need to take risks for the survival of your creativity as well. Transformation of the spirit, time to discard what is not needed any more, teaches to have a greater sensitivity in communication. On the physical side they use suction to feed or even to hang onto fast moving objects to travel. They also have a gas bladder that makes them sink to the bottom but also improves their hearing. Perhaps you could improve your bladder health too - more water, more alkaline foods. it's all about elimination right now for spiritual health as well :)
