Planetary Shifts This Month
August 3rd - Uranus Retrograde in Aries - All that rebellious, feisty, impulsive behaviour is turned inward - making us restless - ready to explode at times, and possibly far too worried about disastrous outcomes in our minds.
August 1st - 26th - Venus in Cancer - This will make August a lovely time for romance, family time and children. Venus in Cancer is a nurturing, thoughtful and tender placement. Great love and affection are shown and given easily. There may be more emotional times as well but this is healthy. Can be possessive sometimes but also very protective.
August 4th - Jupiter Square Pluto - This will have us wanting to succeed and succeed BIG. Ambitious and obsessive are the name of this combo. You will want to live life to the fullest but need to be cautious how you go about it. There are ways to do it without danger or overweening ambition.
August 12th - September 5th -Mercury Retrograde in Virgo- Mercury - Here we go! You probably already feel the shadow of Mercury Retrograde which began end of July. This phase is going to be about trust and deception, illusions and idealism. You will be thinking and talking a lot about loyalty and being transparent on the healing side - or you'll be talking about affairs, scandals, hidden communications or covert manipulations. Mercury is opposing Neptune and there is a fog cast over the clear and rational side of us.

August 25th - Saturn Direct in Sagittarius - The healing phase of this long transit begin now! We put into practice what we learned in the retrograde phase, likely about love and money, feeling lonely, isolated, funds are tight etc. Now we can bring the lessons in and start to heal the patterns
All Month - Mars in Leo - This is the ardent lover, the dramatic actor, the passionate CEO, the Lion roaring. Yes, there can be more drama under a Leo Mars ( and Sun and Mercury) but things can also get moving, get done, come out to be seen and expressed. You will know where you stand, and you can be bolder and take risks.

All Month - Neptune Retrograde - This will last until November 22nd. We are entering a period where our sensitivities, dream life, psychic abilities and ability to receive information and energy around us is heightened. You may feel this is wonderful and give you a sense of connected-ness to yourself , or you may find this overwhelming and feel foggy minded by it. Meditation and a calm life will help if it's the latter.
Pluto Retrograde in Capricorn - All Month - Pluto will retrograde from April 20th to September 28th. Pluto is the transformer of the solar system, so it will provoke inner transformation while in retrograde. What might that look like ? You may feel afraid to let go and allow things to change. You may have power and authority issues come up - either other's control over you, or your own sense of personal control and power. This can extend to the victim/ abuser dynamic if we aren't careful. You will want to look at areas where you don't sue your personal power at all, or wisely, and areas of your life where you give away your power, and the need to stand up to abuse or bullying etc. Noticing the theme here? It is a time for healing in order to move forward this next few months .

The Sun and Moon are always in opposition on a full moon so that's a given we feel the pull of these two light bodies and the inner and outer sides of ourselves. That's why we look to the other aspects it makes to see what quality it gives this time.
This Full Moon Eclipse falls on the 15th degree of Aquarius - which is represented by the Sabian Symbol of Two Love Birds Sitting Happily on a Fence. This moon is also in the 3rd house of communications, how our mind works, cities and siblings. As per usual, there is always multiple symbolism going on in a chart of a Full Moon let alone the game changing energy an eclipse can bring.

As the two birds are "sitting on a fence," and a fence separates two fields or gardens, the implication is that the separative consciousness of the ego can thus be blessed, perhaps as a spiritual reward for long-sustained and well-done work.
Aquarian Moon born folks tend to actually NOT commit much on an emotional level. They are rebels and renegades deep down and they like to be free to live as they choose. Do you know such a person ? Along the way to this however, you may find yourself thinking a lot, talking a lot, defending or justifying the new, feeling challenged in your commitment level to others, and an overall restless feeling to break free underpinning it all. New Moon SOLAR Eclipse in Leo - August 21st
New moons are always the time to plant a wish or idea or intention that can manifest by the full moon. It's a dark moon, or black moon and sits in the same sign as the sun. A new moon in Aquarius can bring out our inner rebel or renegade. We feel a desire to break free and be independent, follow our own ideas or create something new vs resurrect the old.

The New Moon Solar Eclipse has been anticipated for months by astrologers because it will affect President Trump's presidency. It's the first eclipse in 99 years to make a shadow over the USA, from Oregon to South Carolina to be precise. It coincides with Donald Trump's chart in a way that could bring disaster or at least lots of drama. ( You may be saying, "what's new" its' so full of drama already. However this may bring actions and results.
As for the rest of us it can also be a life altering time, especially if you are born around the same date - because then your sun sign is directly impacted and you will feel the changes. If you have any other planets in Leo or early Virgo you can also feel it - your moon, your Venus etc. It also affects people who have strong aspects to it, so someone born April 21st, January 21st, or November 21st. IT will make a strong angle to you and can bring changes for you. So let's look at what kind of change we're dealing with:
The Symbol for this New Moon at 28' Leo is Many Little Birds Sitting on the Limb of Big Tree. There is lots of company and lots of talking going on. We can be bombarded with ideas, advice, potentialities of what could happen. It may be very overwhelming even if it's exciting as well. We realise ANYTHING is possible if we want it and work for it.

This eclipse falls on a fixed star that is very important to its' interpretation too. The fixed star Regulus, the Lion's Heart. This star is associated with a dramatic rise and dramatic or dangerous fall as well. most of us aren't in positions we can really fall from, but the President is and this Star sits on his Ascendant ( his public persona, physical body etc) AND he has Mars on top of this too - usually aggression, passion, and sometimes danger. This is why so many astrologers like me have been anticipating how this catalytic energy will play out for him and the world really depending. For us it's less likely to have sharp rise and fall or danger, but you may still feel it if your Sun or Moon falls right on this degree because it's also part of your life path.
