Venus enters Aries - February 4th - This placement means we are not shy to take risks, put out reactions out there, and act on our instincts. It can be a good time to fire up a romance or take a new risk. It can also be charming, innocent, self centred and childish. It is fun loving and doesn't like things to be too serious or mature.
Mars in Aries - January 28th - This is an impulsive position of mars. They wont' stop and analyse or wonder how it will affect anything or anyone else. They will just act. So of all positions of Mars this is the one that will rise to an occasion to fight if needed, or to be quick to aggression and violence if afflicted.
Jupiter Retrograde - February 6th - Generally a favourable period, This lasts until June 2017 and is a time when you can grow spiritually through introspection. Think back to the past few months, since September 2016. What have you been trying to achieve? The next 4 months you can grow in this area of your life more by reflecting so you can see and admit where problems may lay, and then you can start to resolve them and see progress.
Mercury in Aquarius - February 8th - This is a clever and quirky placement for mercury to have. Very independent minded, stubborn yet unusual view points, progressive and possibly eccentric or radical thinking takes shape.
Mars conjunct Uranus conjunct Moon in Aries - February 28th - this could be a very energising or a very volatile day or two with explosive energy in some form. With our current climate it could be a massive spontaneous protest, or hopefully not another type of outburst. The potential is strong on these two days.

Major Aspects of this Full Moon
The Sun and Moon are always in opposition on a full moon so that's a given we feel the pull of these two light bodies and the inner and outer sides of ourselves. That's why we look to the other aspects it makes to see what quality it gives this time.
Look at the Leo Moon sitting there all alone ! It is supported by the trine of Saturn and Uranus in Fire signs so it seems as if it can do as it pleases and stand far away fro the crowd if needed. The other side of this chart shows a cluster of planets - some squares and some sextiles that look as if they are competing or vying for attention in different directions. Venus, Mars and Uranus in Aries squaring Pluto in Capricorn is never an easy dynamic. Once again it can be volatile and competitive, power tripping and aggressive. Jupiter in Libra is also opposing Uranus and squaring Pluto - once again aspects we've been continually dealing with for years.. since 2011 in some form... the Cardinal signs in opposition, uprisings, protests, big upheavals, etc. My overall feeling for this full moon though is one of deciding where you stand, and perhaps detachign yourself from the energy of conflict. Tryign to find safe ground and gain strength before engaging.

New Moon in Pisces - February 26th
New moons are always the time to plant a wish or idea or intention that can manifest by the full moon. It's a dark moon, or black moon and sits in the same sign as the sun. A new moon in Aquarius can bring out our inner rebel or renegade. We feel a desire to break free and be independent, follow our own ideas or create something new vs resurrect the old.
Major Aspects to this New Moon
Now it is Jupiter standing all alone in this chart. There is a distinct cluster of planets in Aries opposing Jupiter and Pluto as usual - all these years of conflict and upheaval we've become so used to sadly... but there is also a cluster of planets in Pisces - Sun, Moon, Neptune, Chiron, Mercury and the South node. There is something major to be learned here! This has the feeling of a sacrifice or a martyr situation and it asks us all to be very compassionate. The most hopeful part of this chart as I see it, is the trine between Mercury and Jupiter, suggesting that a lot of talking will go on and could resolve some old or long standing issues.
