June 2017 Energetic Forecast
Planetary Shifts This Month
June 4th - Mars in Cancer - Mars is a direct and firey energy that wants what it wants when it wants it. So when it arrives in Cancer is isn't at home at all. Now the direct action or passion or anger is in a water sign, making it much more emotional, and less direct in approach. Instead, Cancer hangs onto everything until it blows. This placement means that we'll have deeper emotional build ups before we explode with passion, or anger. At it's worst it can mean manipulation to get the desired results - like being passive aggressive or guilt tripping to get what you want. If you find yourself doing this, catch it and fix it. If you're the recipient then ask people to directly tell you what they want and don't act on mind reading or sarcasm.
June 6th - Venus in Taurus - Venus is right at home in Taurus so this is a nice chapter of time. We will feel the security and pace of savouring and enjoying the simple things in life. We will still be concerned with our finances and loyalty, but under this transit these should flow better.
June 6th - Mercury in Gemini - Mercury is also right at home in Gemini so communication and versatility, wit and learning new things, being on top of what's going on in the world and community. A dose of flirting won't hurt either ;)
June 9th - Full Micro Moon & Jupiter Direct ! Jupiter direct will last from June 9th to September 2017 and will show us if we are in line with our goals and if our intentions are pure. Jupiter is expansion but it's also faith - and we will be reminded now that we have to grow spiritually for our true goals to manifest. It won't happen out of greed or impatience. Jupiter is in Libra so this can bring about a period of socialising more and perhaps being more concerned with fairness and justice. For some there could be movement in a legal matter or anything that requires official paperwork.
Saturn Retrograde in Sagittarius - All Month - This is a longer retrograde lasting until August 25th. We can expect to see some feelings of frustration of not getting what you want at the beginning of this transit because it is also squaring off with Venus. Time can seem to drag with Saturn - keeper of time - out of phase. You can feel tested in some way or restricted in your sense of personal freedom. If you have been responsible in the past you can see some genuine rewards for your efforts, ad if you've been evading responsibility you may have to face the music and rebuild brick by brick.
June 16th Neptune Retrograde - This will last until November 22nd. We are entering a period where our sensitivities, dream life, psychic abilities and ability to receive information and energy around us is heightened. You may feel this is wonderful and give you a sense of connected-ness to yourself , or you may find this overwhelming and feel foggy minded by it. Meditation and a calm life will help if it's the latter.
June 21st - Sun and Mercury in Cancer - This time of year is when we are most emotional and nurturing. Mercury isn't quite at home in a water sign so direct communication and assertiveness isn't so high, but Mercury in Cancer will be very empathic, good listener, and telepathic at times.
Pluto Retrograde in Capricorn - All Month - Pluto will retrograde from April 20th to September 28th. Pluto is the transformer of the solar system, so it will provoke inner transformation while in retrograde. What might that look like ? You may feel afraid to let go and allow things to change. You may have power and authority issues come up - either other's control over you, or your own sense of personal control and power. This can extend to the victim/ abuser dynamic if we aren't careful. You will want to look at areas where you don't sue your personal power at all, or wisely, and areas of your life where you give away your power, and the need to stand up to abuse or bullying etc. Noticing the theme here? It is a time for healing in order to move forward this next few months .

Major Aspects of this Full Moon
The Sun and Moon are always in opposition on a full moon so that's a given we feel the pull of these two light bodies and the inner and outer sides of ourselves. That's why we look to the other aspects it makes to see what quality it gives this time.
This Full Moon is sitting beside Saturn, which tends to thwart the emotional side and make us very serious, even though it's in Sagittarius. The Moon and Saturn also oppose the Sun, and Saturn opposite Mars in Cancer. The overall feeling of this is likely going to feel restrictive somehow. The Moon will also be squaring off with Neptune, which has a tendency to sabotage itself or be secretive, or just so inwardly focused it can't get clear. The Moon and Saturn will make great aspects to Venus and Uranus though, so there will be an opportunity to break free of what oppresses your spirit. IT may be a time where you either get truly in touch with what you want - because it is being suppressed and you can't take it - or if you KNOW what you want and haven't had your chance this might be it. Grab the opportunity even if it's unconventional or feels a bit risky. It can be a great full moon for busting through old limitations and anything repressed or hidden from view.

New Moon in Cancer - June 23rd
New moons are always the time to plant a wish or idea or intention that can manifest by the full moon. It's a dark moon, or black moon and sits in the same sign as the sun. A new moon in Aquarius can bring out our inner rebel or renegade. We feel a desire to break free and be independent, follow our own ideas or create something new vs resurrect the old.
Major Aspects to this New Moon
The New Moon is a complex energy. There is a stellium of Cancer planets - Sun, Moon, Mercury and Mars - so all feelings, family, food, nurturing, honouring or marinating in the past, trying to overcome insecurity and the tendency to hold onto everyone and everything past the shelf life. Neptune will be trining Mercury and Mars so this is the best side of this chart - heightened experiences and feelings, plus heightened visions, dreams and psychic abilities. It could be very transcendent fro some of us.
The Sun and Moon are square Chiron so that message about triggering insecurities is very relevant. They are also opposing Saturn so the message for the Full Moon is once again relevant that we need to consider what we need to break free from in our lives. That just might be the insecurities vs a concrete person or place or job.
Venus will be trine Pluto which means we can be very productive toward the concrete goals, things that may not feel so glamorous, but get us further ahead. It may mean taking things step by step, with budgets, time lines - its' all realistic with Venus in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn.
As you can see it's a complex energy this month! Overall my feeling for this New Moon is positive if we stay well rounded and don't let one area of life dominate over another. Use this diverse energy to look at the whole of life and take simple steps on multiple fronts.
